CommonTimes Integrates with Del.icio.us and Technorati

If you haven't checked out CommonTimes lately, there are two new exciting changes:

*** Del.icio.us Integration ***

Since many of you use Del.icio.us to save your Web bookmarks, we've added automatic synchronization between your CommonTimes channel and your Del.icio.us account. Instructions for synchronizing stories are shown below...

Moving stories from Del.icio.us to CommonTimes:

Whenever you add stories to Del.icio.us with the tag 'news' (or a tag of your choice), they will be automatically added to your CommonTimes channel. Be sure to also tag stories at Del.icio.us with a CommonTimes section name so they will appear on the front page. For example, use the tag news AND one of the following: International, U.S.-News, Business, Technology, Environment, Sports, Opinion, Oddities, Arts, Entertainment, Science or Health.

Moving stories from CommonTimes to Del.icio.us:

Whenever you add stories to CommonTimes, you'll have the option of adding them to your Del.icio.us account automatically. You can skip copying a story by unchecking the Del.icio.us option on the story submission page.

To set up your Del.icio.us account information at CommonTimes, follow the instructions on this page. You may be asked to login.

*** Technorati Blogosphere Excerpts ***

Recently, we added integration with Technorati's blogosphere search index. When you visit CommonTimes, you'll be able to see the number of blogs linking to each story and click through to read what bloggers are saying about them.

Please let us know what you think of these updates and keep us posted with feature requests.
